Project IV Love was created in response of the May 23, 2014 tragedy in Isla Vista. Being an alumni and Santa Barbara community member I felt something had to be done and built a grass roots campaign that helped raise $50,000 to build Isla Vista Love and Remembrance Garden in Isla Vista, California. Produced website, graphics and publications pushed through social media campaigns. Brought the community together through planting days, memorial bench design contest, and community garden completion.

As Founder & Art Director my specific contribution to the project included the mission statement, logo and icon creation, website development, t-shirt production/operations, and social media marketing campaigns. Samples of my work for this project can be found below.

The Isla Vista Love and Remembrance Garden at People's Park in Isla Vista, California was dedicated to the victims lost on May 16, 2015. The garden has 6 benches designed respectively for the six students lost by 5 UCSB students of Isla Vista Open Lab class and one designed by myself. The project is an attribute to the community as it has taken a community effort between Isla Vista Recreation & Parks District, UCSB, Woodstocks IV and community members to make the garden happen. The committee still seeks on going fundraising efforts by the to ensure the garden continues to thrive. If you would like to donate please click here
